Week #5 Winner

It upsets me to say this, but this will be the last MRotW that I plan to do for some time. The amount of interest recently has diminished, and it seems as if we've fallen into a rut, so unless someone else plans on starting this back up (I won't stop them if they choose) this will be it for a while.

So, after several weeks, I give you the 5th (and possibly last) winner of Member Review of the Week...

In second place, comes Aditya Gokhale for his review of Scorsese's 'The King of Comedy'. Excellent job!

And now, after weeks of waiting (sorry for that, by the way), the winner of Week #5 is...

Rohit, for his review of the De Niro and Norton prison drama 'Stone'! Great review!

That being said, congratulations to all winners, and sorry to those of you who didn't get a chance to win. Cheers!

Week #4 Winner

This has been (admittedly) a long 'week' for our MRotW voting, but I thought we should give a brief window of time for us Americans who wish to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families, and not have to miss out on voting or submitting reviews because of it. I have gathered votes, and we now have a fourth winner of Review Of The Week, which will be announced shortly.

My apologies to Francisco, who due to a mistake by me, was unable to submit a review in time for the first half of the voting. I would also like to say that he never made any complaints, and has been very congenial. Thanks for being such a good sport.

Now on to the main event.

The spread of votes this week was fantastic, first place won by a little, but not by much. In third place is Jack L. for his review of the 1979 Russian film 'Stalker'. Second place is Jhon E. for his review of Lynch's 'Mulholland Drive'. And coming in first place...

Nick L. for his review of Donnie Darko! Well-done, that's two in a row!

Week #3 Winner

This week there were three reviews that received the majority of the votes, but one stood above all of them.

In third place comes Kid A/Jesus Of Suburbia's review of the Director's Cut of the 2001 cult hit Donnie Darko.

In second place is CACB's review of the Fernando Meirelles gangster flick Cidade De Deu', or as it is commonly known, City Of God.

And coming in at first place, the winner of Member Review Of The Week is...

Nick L. for his review of Cameron Crowe's semi-autobiographical film Almost Famous. Congratulations Nick!

Week #2 Winner

Not 'quite' a landslide victor, but the winner by a fairly substantial margin is...

SammuelJankis for his review of Batman Begins!
